Little Princess - Shirley Temple

The following excerpt is from one of her websites:
"At the age of six, Shirley received a special Academy Award 'in grateful recognition of her outstanding contribution to screen entertainment during the year 1934.' She had made nine films that year, and the special juvenile Oscar she received for her work made Shirley the youngest person in the then-short history of the Academy Awards ever to receive an Oscar. It is a distinction she still holds more than 70 years later."

My writing of Kim Novak posted to Shireley Temple site by mistake and my apology to Jade

I watched Shirley Temple films on TV or dvd, never in a cinema. She reminded me of our chinese child star Fung Po Po 馮宝宝, a little too sweet and too good to be true. However, whenever I had a bad day at work, I often found her film cheering me up.

I was in Las Vagas a few year ago. It was a very hot sunny day when I arrived. I had a gin tonic in my hand, with the cool air blowing in the hotel room and a Shirley Temple film showing on TV, I told my family
    'This is heaven'.
