Remember her breathtaking performance as both Madeleine Elster and Judy Barton in Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo"? Or her playing Madge with William Holden in that memorable "Moonglow" scene in "Picnic"?

Here's the famous Moonglow scene from "Picnic":

She didn't make many films, but most of her films are quite special, like "The Eddy Duchin Story" (1956); "Pal Joey" (1957); "Bell, Book and Candle" (1958); "The Notorious Landlady" (1962); "Of Human Bondage" (1964), etc. She left Hollywood in the '70s and only played selected roles occasionally.

I like Kim Novak in the film "Eddy Duchin Story" very much. I remember when I watched this film with mum (when I was very, very young then), I was running around in the cinema. I met a deaf couple (using sign language) sitting in the front seats, playing with me and they gave me some sweets. They were very kind to me and that's why I could remember this film (not the movie itself, but what had happened inside the cinema). I watched it for the first time on TV in UK when I first came here. I still have a sweet memory of it.

She was very sexy and impressive in her early films. I like her film Vertigo and Eddy Duchin Story the best.
I was quite sad to see her in the Agatha Christie's film 'The mirrior crack'd ' of 1980. Her face looked stretched and shiny (?? having a face operation), over acting with over acting Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson.
Why can't she grow old graceful, like our chinese Star Pak Kong 白光.
